My house is greenly old
A home to onetime beetles
And in the middle of that
Some new life’s growing curious
Some fifty years before in here
We were adult people baking bricks
But time goes by and we are getting
Younger and younger
The sun shining in your bathroom
Is that your very cup of tea?
Your grandma’s younger than you
When you’re younger than tomorrow
My house is barely old,
A home to former Beatles
And in the centre of this
My young life’s getting younger
Some fifty years before in here
We were wiser people baking clay
But time went by and
A drizzle came to change our mind
The sun shining in your bathroom
Is that your very cup of tea?
